on being panther
many dragons, myself included, have catlike mannerisms. i think it's just what happens when you try to reconcile the presence of a larger-than-life mythical reptile with a funny little mammalian frame. i in particular see myself most in the genus panthera. it's, again, both a literal-behavioural and metaphorical-archetypal thing.
one notable characteristic of my experience of panther is its seasonality. i am dragon all the time, but this feline lens is present mostly through the late spring to early autumn.
my fursona is, most of the time, some conglomerate big cat. he's also purple. unless someone linked you to this page directly for some reason, you've already seen him on my homepage.
